Saw this Sony 10" notebook from newspaper,
1.38kg with almost 8 hours of battery life. This sounds like the notebook I want, but not sure Linux work well on it.
Vaio is a good brand name from Sony, but the model description-- VGN-T17GP, which is really terrible, I don't think normal people will remeber it. Look at Canon Ixus 30, 40, 50, are just simple naming and work nice.
